My mother and sister told me that they already requested a distant relative to made a house sketch for our house. We are all excited so we talked about what design we want and what kitchen we like. I have requested them that I want the kitchen stove to have exhaust fan and light so it won’t stench inside our house when cooking and to avoid smoke as well.

Our grandmother is living alone to her own house after she had misunderstanding with our aunt whom they doubt as her favorite daughter.  It was my aunts and uncles who built her a shuck beside our house because she don’t want to stay in someone else house again.

Years passed and our grandmother’s house started to get old and cranky.  So her kids (my father, aunts and uncles) decided to collect money from each other so they can built new house for her. Below is our grandmother’s new house, it was small but it was a lot better than the old house above.

Some of my male cousins slept to our grandma’s house when they can’t go home anymore after attending a drinking party with friends, or sometimes my older female cousin made our grandma’s house as retreat house after misunderstanding with her husband.

We moved here in the new apartment  almost one week ago,  my husband employer hired a moving company so we can moved easily.  We didn’t move with us our bed because it is already worn out, my husband was too heavy for it.  His director bought us  a new bed, when we moved the apartment is empty. We are expecting that new bed was already delivered before we move but unfortunately it was not.

We didn’t waste our time and we started unpacking the boxes, when we felt tired we just  used the bed covers so we can sleep in the floor.  Within about one hour someone knocked in our door and we found two guys carrying our bed to be, I thought it was just  a bedding but it turns out my husband’s director also included the bed frame as my husband’s requested. The bed frame was do it yourself, the two guys prepared the bed for us, in few minutes it was ready.

Singing is one of the past time of most Filipinos in Karaoke joints or at home. That’s why I am not surprised anymore when my mother bought a Karaoke disc player despite it was only used occasionally like on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

As what I know my mother wants to buy magic sing but because it was too expensive she opted buying a player which works like the magic sing. Now I am thinking to buy or to get usb microphone online so they  can have more fun.

Moving is tiring and somehow annoying because you have to packed then unpack your things, but it is also exciting most of the time especially when you are going to move to your dream house.

Anyway last Friday it was our busy day because we have to pack and closed the boxes that we are going to carry to our new apartment. The moving company came to our apartment early in the morning of Saturday and the moving journey went well as our things are all ready.

When we arrived to our old apartment, all we had is one big box and two big bags, look what we accumulated in three years (see picture above). We had 14 boxes and 3 big bags, oven and furnitures.

My husband’s company director picked us up the other day to visit our new apartment. It was quite small compare to our current apartment, the caretaker says it was already the biggest compare to the next apartment that they are going to show us, so we didn’t bother anymore to see the second one.

Our soon to be new apartment is on 4th floor,  it has bigger balcony and bathroom compare to what we have now. My husband asked for the TV to be removed because we are not going to use it, and removing it will give us more space.

The set of bamboo chairs on our living room was long gone, what’s left is the two small chairs and they are already in bad form.  So my mother decided to buy Cleopatra chair,   it was made of solid wood and rattan.

The chair also serves as table for the old laptop that I left at home, the open space helps a lot so the laptop can have a good ventilation and to prevent from over heating.

My older cousin recently uploaded new photos of their soon to new home. Looking at the photo the house is quite big  it has three rooms and two bathrooms. At first I thought it was almost finished like they can already transfer and live in the house but it turns out it was not yet. I have heard they will finish constructing the house when my cousin arrived from abroad which is few months from now.

My mother told me today that they will probably start the construction of our house in March, I hope I could earn more online so there will no stopping.
