Removing the stump of the coconut was not that hard unlike the removing the stump of the star apple tree. It only took two days for them to remove it, on the first day they dig it and cut the stump and the next day they dig further to remove the roots. The roots need to be removed so termites will not eat them and make a colony under.

Probably removing the coconut stump could be done in one day if they didn’t  work first on removing the stump of the star apple tree. In our town removing the stump cost Php500 per stump, someone is not paid per day when it came to this work.
